I had a feeling that I should have hit the Rite Aid sales earlier. Although I had not yet run across another serious couponer in the stores yet...I knew they were out there. Last night I ran into two of them at my local Rite Aid. I had just beat them to the last 3 cans of Air Wick air freshener.(FREE) Unfortunately, someone/everyone else beat me to the Therma Care heat wraps. (ALSO FREE) In any case, I did pretty fair between the sale price on items and the coupons I had for them. The total cost (not including tax) of everything I bought would have had a regular retail value of $123.61 ~ I paid $80.21 ~ then used $23.57 in coupons bringing my out of pocket expense (with tax) to $60.68. BUT, I also recieved several Rite Aid +UP Rewards totaling $11.00 (towards any future purchase) and this morning I registered my receipt for an additional $13.00 single check rebate. With the rebates being a sure thing, the total cost of this trip was $47.68. Saved - $75.93!

Before leaving I made sure to get a rain check on the heat wraps. Now, I have to watch the sales between now and March 26 so I can cash in my $11.00 in up rewards. No problem :-)
