Get paid to watch video's!

I just completed an online survey at riteaid.com about my recent visit and received a coupon for $3 off my next purchase. Then I watched a Rite Aid video about their Wellness+ program and received another coupon for $1 off my next purchase.

If you aren't a Wellness+ member yet you can register online and print a temporary card.

There are lots of coupons to be earned on their Video Values site so while you are having that cup of coffee in the morning why not earn some coupons for future sales. You can save the coupons online until you are ready to use them. Some may even get you a free item once it goes on sale. :-)

You Snooze...You lose!

AIR WICK Aerosols - Fresh Waters: 8 OZ #6233877002I had a feeling that I should have hit the Rite Aid sales earlier. Although I had not yet run across another serious couponer in the stores yet...I knew they were out there. Last night I ran into two of them at my local Rite Aid. I had just beat them to the last 3 cans of Air Wick air freshener.(FREE) Unfortunately, someone/everyone else beat me to the Therma Care heat wraps. (ALSO FREE)

In any case, I did pretty fair between the sale price on items and the coupons I had for them. The total cost (not including tax) of everything I bought would have had a regular retail value of $123.61 ~ I paid $80.21 ~ then used $23.57 in coupons bringing my out of pocket expense (with tax) to $60.68. BUT, I also recieved several Rite Aid +UP Rewards totaling $11.00 (towards any future purchase) and this morning I registered my receipt for an additional $13.00 single check rebate. With the rebates being a sure thing, the total cost of this trip was $47.68. Saved - $75.93!

My best buys:

3 Air Wick air fresheners - on sale B1G1 free - I had 3 coupons for the same - ALL FREE!

Miracle Ice - regular retail $6.99 - Rebate for $6.00 - cost .99

No Doze - (momma needs help sometimes) retail $6.99 - Rebate for $6.00 - cost .99

Lysol All Purpose Cleaner - on sale 2/$4 - had coupon for $1 off 2 - rebate for $1 - cost $1 each

Before leaving I made sure to get a rain check on the heat wraps. Now, I have to watch the sales between now and March 26 so I can cash in my $11.00 in up rewards. No problem :-)

Don't throw away those expired coupons!

Military men & women can use coupons that have expired for up to 6 months after the expiration date!  Visit Grocery Saving Tips for more info.

I think that is sooo great and just had to share it with everyone.

My best deals this week!

I could hardly believe my eye's when I saw the back page of KMarts weekly circular this past Sunday....Double Coupons up to $2.00!  I thought I would find people with coupons all over the store when I got there this past Monday but I never saw anyone looking through their coupons.

Even though KMart had a limit of 5 coupons to be doubled ...who can't use an extra $10?

I used four $2 off coupons for Gillette body wash for my son.  They were regularly priced at $4.59.  Once Kmart doubled my coupons...total cost was .59 cents!

A large bag of Kibbles & Bits dog food was on sale for $10  (regular price $14+) and I had a $2 coupon for that ...making it cost $6!

I really wish I had some more $2 coupons to make it worth another trip.  Oh well, maybe next time!

What? ~ You don't care about free money?

OK ~ I just started "couponing" again since the cost of gas and every stinking thing I need or use has gone through the roof!

Remember our last gas price scare? ("Drill Here..Drill Now!") Well, I played around with coupons then but never got serious about them. I found other profitable outlets and pretty much gave it/coupons up.

But a few weeks ago I caught a show on TV about some "Super Couponers" and I have to say... I started wondering again... and collecting again.  This time... much more organized!

After taking the advice and putting it to the test...my savings on one trip (on things I might/or normally buy) amounted to :

KMART -
                             ~ MC : $20.37
+DBL CPN SALE                9.00
                                __________
total saved                         $29.37 (off a $46.59 purchase)

To sweeten the pie ...a coupon was printed for $10 off my next $10 purchase the following week! (FREE $10 in merchandise) Total trip value - $39.37 - making my total expense for this trip $7.22 (provided I cash in my $10 coupon next week)

To add some advice...you must make sure the cashier scans your KMART rewards card before scanning even one item to get the rewards doubles!

This is only the savings on one "coupon trip" I made in a week... I saved BIG and I can't wait to show how! Stay tuned!
